People often will ask you "what is your five-year plan?" or "where do you see yourself in five years?" This is always such a hard question for me to answer. One, because the world is so ever-changing that it's hard to know where we will be in five years.
In terms of geography, I have moved about 10 times in my life from Colombia to the United States, and many states in between. So the question often becomes WHERE will I be in five years?

Five years ago during this time, I was working the very dreaded Tax Season in an accounting office in New York City. Today, I am quarantined in California as the world pandemic caused by COVID-19 has started to unravel.
Somewhere in between those two chapters of my life, I picked up a paintbrush. And a few months into that journey, I was contacted by Gallery Du 808, in Bristol UK asking if I was interested in displaying my art at their gallery. WHAT?! ME?! MY ART?! Did they have the right person?! This was a dream that came true before I ever even dreamt of it. I immediately responded and shipped off my art to Bristol. Though I was not able to see it in person, the gallery sent me pictures of my art the week that my art was made the forefront center of attention of their gallery's display!
SOMEBODY PINCH ME! This was definitely one of the highlights of 2019. It also showed me that as big as the world is, thanks to social media, we are now more connected than ever. Even w hile being quarantined, the entire world is connected! We can be discovered by anyone, at any point, and vice versa. Together we can accomplish so much! And I'm proof that you can really do anything you put your mind to. There are 24 hours in a day. You don't have to quit your job right now, you just need to manage your time better. If there are people who work two jobs, then you can pursue your passion one step at a time and accomplish things you never imagined you ever would!
